A Dynamic Order Management Layer

When Cape Union Mart first started looking for a solution, we were connected through a mutual contact at our client – Cow Hills. It’s always nice to get the nod from partners and so once we had an ‘in’ we definitely made the most of it. However, once 2020 hit, we became a lot more involved and there were a number of projects that we helped support to get Cape Union firing on all omnichannel cylinders.

Digital transformation has really taken hold at Cape Union over the past few years and there’s been a lot of background work to help support the replacement of other tools including both their warehousing and merchandising systems.

One of the key areas where we added value was in automating the entire returns process. This not only reduced the manual workload but also improved customer satisfaction – which is key in securing repeat business and lifting lifetime value. That reduction in manual work has helped free up key team members to focus on higher value-adding activities so in both the short and long term that’s a big win.
