Bringing SUMMUM On Board

SUMMUM is a well-established name in fashion retail with a 25-year legacy, so when we had the opportunity to bring them on board as a new customer, we jumped at the chance. When Anouk Janse, SUMMUM's Manager of E-commerce and Online Marketing, joined the team last June, she took the reins, and we’ve been in comms with her ever since.

SUMMUM is a perfect example of a customer who can benefit from our omnichannel retail platform (ORP) with 11 retail stores and an extensive network of nearly 1000 wholesale retailers.

“When I first had a meeting Wolfpack, it was so easy. There was no pressure, no “sell”, it was just a conversation about what we needed. Carrying on that conversation was an easy choice.”

– Anouk Janse, Manager E-commerce and Online Marketing, SUMMUM

An Exciting Few Months

SUMMUM is a dynamic company, with a team of over 90 that combines fresh talent with seasoned professionals, experiencing strong growth across their HQ and other stores. Under the guidance of SUMMUM's dedicated owners, the brand's ecommerce and online marketing strategies were in the perfect place for a strong push. Anouk's goal isn’t just a small improvement, there’s the desire and vision in the business to turn what they do into a digital-first approach that can help continue their success for years to come.

Following an in-depth assessment of SUMMUM's existing systems, it was clear that a reliance on traditional ERP and POS systems was a bottleneck for growth. Anouk and her team had already tackled some ambitious projects, including a webshop redesign, but they were looking for the last piece of the puzzle to create a seamless experience across all channels.

SUMMUM had actually thought about Wolfpack in the past, but the timing hadn't been right. Anouk's predecessors had laid the groundwork, and after a promising discussion with Koen, our co-founder and CFO, it was clear they had found their match.

“Most of Wolfpack’s competitors don’t have PCM and OMS together, so that’s a win, and on top of that the Shopify integration is the cherry on top.”

– Anouk Janse, Manager E-commerce and Online Marketing, SUMMUM

The projects we now have planned together include implementing return-in-store as well as collect-in-store options. Now that the roadmap is set, there’s even a go-live goal of the summer, so check back then to find out how it all came together.
