Our long-standing relationship with Simon Lévelt is extremely important to us, and over the years, we’ve worked more and more closely with the team there. We’ve worked hard to help them enhance their digital ops, and because of that hard work, we’re now embarking on even more projects together. We sat down with Remco, Product Owner and Project Manager at Simon Lévelt, and one of our own Senior Developers Frank van Leeuwen.

“Wolfpack is reliable, they do what they promise, and they deliver results. Working with Frank and the team has been a pleasure. They understand our needs and always go the extra mile to help us meet them.”

Expanding the partnership

We recently reconfirmed and expanded our relationship with Simon Lévelt, a family-owned Dutch company specializing in premium coffee and tea. What started with order management via our Omnichannel Retail Platform (ORP) is now growing into a more comprehensive digital transformation. We’ll be implementing our Product Channel Management (PCM) solution and building a new omnichannel webshop on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, fully integrated with their stores through ORP.

For over five years, Simon Lévelt has relied on Wolfpack’s ORP to streamline their order management. With 40 brick-and-mortar stores (30 of which are franchises) and an ever-growing online presence, they needed a robust system that could handle complex fulfillment processes. 75% of their orders are fulfilled through their franchise network, with the remainder handled by their central warehouse in Haarlem.

“ORP is critical for us,” says Remco, “we need a platform that can scale as we grow but remains easy to manage with our small team. Wolfpack delivers that with ORP – it’s simple, efficient, and flexible enough to accommodate new ideas and channels.”

With real-time stock visibility and order management in place, Simon Lévelt’s digital operations have become far more efficient and easier to manage. Local stores are now seamlessly fulfilling online orders, thanks to a zip code rotation system built into the ORP, which assigns the closest franchise to handle each customer’s delivery. This not only speeds up delivery times but also strengthens the connection between their physical and online channels.

Next steps

As Simon Lévelt evolves, so do their digital needs. Their current webshop will soon be replaced with a brand-new website built by Wolfpack Agency on Salesforce Commerce Cloud. This new site will provide a fully omnichannel experience, tightly integrated with their stores through ORP, ensuring a consistent and smooth customer journey across all touchpoints.

“We’re excited about the new webshop and the additional functionality it will bring,” Remco shares. “It’s important for us to have a system that can grow with us. Salesforce and Wolfpack will allow us to scale our product offerings and deliver a better experience for our customers.”

Over the years, Wolfpack and Simon Lévelt have built more than just a working relationship. “What makes our partnership special is the communication and trust we have with them,” says Frank. “We’ve seen the logic and processes grow, and it’s been a collaborative effort. Simon Lévelt knows what they want and is clear in their goals, which makes it easy for us to deliver. Plus, it’s great to work with a team that’s passionate about their products – being a coffee geek myself is just a bonus!”

Simon Lévelt is well positioned to not only maintain but enhance its leadership in the world of coffee and tea retail. Their new digital infrastructure, backed by Wolfpack’s solutions, will provide the flexibility and scalability needed for its continued growth.
